It is my pleasure to welcome you to Katsina University Library for a conducive and peaceful reading, research & study environment. The Al-Qalam University Library provides information resources (books, journals, reports, monographs, electronic based materials etc.) in support of its teaching and research mandates. Pursuant to the actualization of this responsibility, the University maintains a central Library System as the main library or arrow head of the library and information service provision. As a back-up to all these plans, the Library has two major divisions, the conventional and electronic library divisions. Library regulations Every library usually has rules and regulations governing effective utilization of their materials and services. These rules are usually enforced and often shown at the entrance door. Users should be acquainted with the regulations before entering the library.

The library exhibition reflects on the diverse nature of our collections, historical artifacts and antiquites.
We collaborate with various stakeholders both within and outside the country for training and retraining of our staff to make them effective and efficient.
The library also engage on user education where patrons are given basic Library and other related training for effecient utilization of library resources and services.
Our E-library was established by NCC foundation built to help improve the quality of education in Nigeria.
