Dr. Abubakar Ladan University Librarian

The University Librarian, Dr. Abubakar Ladan obtained his PhD in Library and Information Science from SRM Institute of Science and Technology Chennai, India in 2020, Master in Library and Information in 2012 and Bachelor of Art Library Science/Sociology in 2004 from Bayero University Kano respectively. He began his works career with Umaru Musa Yaradua University, Katsina in January 2007 as Assistant Librarian and rose to the rank of Principal Librarian before he was appointed as University Librarian of Al-Qalam University, Katsina in July 2022. Dr. Ladan has many publications to his credit as well as presented many papers at national and international conferences. He is Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN), member Nigerian Library Association and life member, International Library and Information Science Society (I-LISS).
