Al-Qalam University Katsina is billed to receive ten different accreditation panels from the National Universities Commission (NUC) from the 27th November, 2022 to 7th December, 2022.

The panels will accredit thirteen undergraduate programmes of the University that have matured after running, as the case may be, for either four or two years.

Three panels arrived on Monday, 28th November, 2022, for BSc. Microbiology/ BSc. Science Lab. Tech., BSc. Political Science and BSc. Sociology.

While receiving the panels in his office, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nasiru Musa Yauri, assured them of co-operation from each and every staff of the university in the course of carrying out their assignments.

Prof. Yauri spoke of the University’s commitment to enhance learning, research and teaching within the limited resources available, saying ‘’we have chosen to be modest in our determination to grow as a university, taking one step at a time, so that we ensure quality and standard.’ Other accreditation panels that have been scheduled to arrive are those for BSc. Accounting, BSc. Business Administration, BSc. Economics, BSc. Software Engineering, BSc. Mathematics and BEd. Arabic, English and Hausa.
